Our Mission
For over 20 years, the Grand County Blues Society (GCBS) has remained dedicated to the mission established during its earliest meetings.
Our Programs
We haven’t lost our way—we’ve led the way. Through innovation, creativity, and dedicated volunteers, we’ve kept our passion for live blues alive, producing 17 festivals and over 300 shows in Grand County.
Our Blues in the Schools program has brought blues history to every school in the county, following students from first grade to college. We’ve partnered with libraries to create Check Out the Music, offering CDs, DVDs, and even instruments for kids to borrow. Wherever there are kids, we’ve been there to share the blues.
As an all-volunteer board, we thrive thanks to the support of friends and local businesses. Join us as we continue bringing world-class blues to our valley.
